How Do New Jersey Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Incentives Work?
Incentives are based upon the projected energy savings of the upgrades installed in your home.
The program uses software that pairs a home's construction, energy usage, and other variables against a variety of upgrades that, when installed, will lower a home's energy consumption.
The more we can save on your utility bills, the more cash-back incentives you qualify for!
2024 New Jersey Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program Incentives:
Less than 5% projected energy savings
No cash-back or financing incentives available
5% or greater projected energy savings
Cash-Back Incentive:
$2,000 cash rebate (up to 50% of project costs)
plus $150 for each additional percentage point of projected energy savings above 5%
(up to 25% or $5,000 in total cash-back incentives)
Financing Incentive:
$10,000 0% financing (7 year term)*
or
$15,000 0% financing (10 year term)*
*Available to qualified borrowers
Who Can Participate in the New Jersey Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program?
Owners of single-family and multi-family homes are eligible to participate in New Jersey’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program.
