Why sizing matters more than brand
An oversized air conditioner cools the air quickly but shuts off before it dehumidifies, leaving your home cold and clammy at the same time. We size systems with a Manual J load calculation based on your home's actual characteristics, which is why our installations feel different from a rule of thumb replacement.

Cooling loads depend heavily on your attic. A 130 degree attic above thin insulation radiates heat into your bedrooms all evening, forcing your AC to fight physics. Can you add central air to a house with radiators?
Usually yes, most often with ductless mini splits or compact ducted systems that avoid major construction. It is one of the most common projects we design.
