Forum To Explore Sustainability

Enjoy cocktails, community, and conversation while learning about sustainability programs and renewable energy options.

Solar power and energy efficiency: What resources are available?  What sustainable initiatives are happening?  These and other questions will be explored at a free public event entitled, "Fall In Love with Sustainability: Cocktails, Community, & Conversation."  The event takes place on Thursday, November 9th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, in the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts located at 9 Main Street, Madison NJ 07940.

The purpose of the event is to inform residents about local programs and resources that will help us reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, lower emissions, and help us accelerate our transition to renewable energy.  Sustainability experts will be on hand to discuss ongoing energy efficiency programs, renewable energy options, and programs underway in the Borough of Madison.  Enjoy complementary wine, cheese, and light refreshments while you network and engage with friends, neighbors, and members of local sustainability groups.  The event is co-sponsored by Green House Solar and Ciel Power LLC, administrator of the Borough of Madison $49 Home Energy Assessment Program, with the support of the Madison Environmental Commission.

"This is an exciting opportunity to discuss practical resources available to improve the comfort and energy efficiency of people's homes," says Scott Fischer, Managing Member of Ciel Power LLC and co-sponsor of the upcoming forum.

The event is free, but registration is required.  Click here to learn more about the event or here to register.
